A coaching membership program with all the bells and whistles
If your 2025 plan is to have more attention on your writing (in whatever form that is), or you need a gentle nudge to keep your momentum with it, I have designed a coaching membership program with you in mind.
The new coaching and writing momentum membership program has something for everyone, whether you call yourself a writer or not.

Why a coaching membership?
Last year was a buzz. I completed over 125 Coach Training hours, achieved my international certification as an accredited Result Coach, completed a six week digital training course, ran six writing retreats, coached 65 people, ran two blocks of Writing Momentum, ran two terms of Creative Writing Workshops, had three weeks at two different writing residencies, signed with a literary agent, completed two drafts of a new manuscript …
… no wonder I was tired! But it was a good tired.
In that a dreamy time of river camping with our good mates after Christmas I pondered how I can help people more. How I can help more writers do the one thing that they need to do – write the damn thing – and others be able to live a more joyful and aligned life and I have come up with an answer. I came up with something that is better for you, which makes me happy.
Because by bundling what I do, it enables me to be more present with clients and enables me to give you more.
I wanted to give people:
- more coaching
- more support
- more community
I have designed something that incorporates my experience as a writing coach, workshop facilitator and mindset coach, and a writer. What I’ve come up will help writers become better writers who pay attention to their work. without breaking your bank account. Because I want to coach you and help you keep (or start) writing.
Whether you write as an act of therapy, in pursuit of being published, or in your journal just because it gives you joy. Writers come in all forms, and all deserve the time, space and support to write. Or maybe you’re in need of some coaching, and don’t need the writing. It doesn’t matter because what I’ve created helps you make transformative changes to your life, and have fun while you’re doing it.
What worked last year
Before I decided what it was going to look like, I needed to reflect on what had worked well. There was a lot that worked!
Writing momentum
In the last half of last year, I ran a weekly online writing group Writing Momentum for a small group of writers and it was a huge success. The group included people writing for the joy of writing, flash fiction writers, novelists, memoirists, content writers, playwriters and more. A lovely broad spectrum of writers.
I provided writers with thoughtful poetry-based prompts to take into their writing projects, a solid 40 minutes of writing per week, accountability and a private online community to cheer each other on. Their feedback, some of which is below, reminded me that what I thought would be helpful, was.
Writing Momentum was a really useful program that helped me explore where my writing might be going next. Meg provides a space where writers can spend a really focused 40 minutes on writing helped along by a weekly prompt. The prompts are thoughtful and were great springboards for ideas.
– Meg M
I definitely recommend Writing Momentum to anyone looking to develop a weekly writing practice and seeking accountability with their writing goals. The experience helped me foster a daily writing habit. You can use the time during the online session to work on your own writing or follow a prompt given by Meg.
– Linda S
Meg Dunley’s online live call Writing Momentum is a wonderful opportunity to tune in to my writing. The accountability has kept me focussed and the weekly prompts have been thought provoking and timely. I would recommend Writing Momentum to anyone wanted to get back to a regular writing habit or to keep them on track.
– Rhiannon D
After hearing their feedback, I have decided to continue running it this year, but opening it up to everyone who is a member or is undertaking my 12-week coaching program as a bonus.
Retreats
The six retreats I ran last year were all a huge success. I’m continuing to run these this year and because they sell out so quickly (February 2025 sold out in two days just from my mailing list), I’m giving exclusive priority access to bookings for my members this year.
Coaching
One thing we talk about in my coaching peer groups is that if you feel energised at the end of your working day, your work is aligned with your core values. In the over 240 hours of coaching I did last year, I noted how I felt at the end of each coaching session: a pump-fist-in-the-air energy.
But it was also important to me that what I was doing was meaningful, so I asked for feedback and what I heard back from them demonstrates how helpful coaching is. Last year, I worked people across all spectrums of life and writers and creatives. With writers, it is often other parts of their lives that are crying out for more urgent attention. These things hold them back from approaching their creative and writing making, so that’s what we focus on first.
Some authors I worked with said:
Working with Meg completely overhauled my writing practice. Through identifying blocks, clarifying goals and finding motivation through connecting to values, this is transformative coaching with long lasting results. Highly recommend no matter what you write or what stage in your career.
Julianne Negri
I highly recommend Meg’s coaching. Her gentle guidance towards small necessary changes (both practical and attitudinal) have helped foster a greater balance in my life. I feel so much calmer, and happier.
Melissa Manning
I have gained so much insight and focus from my sessions with Meg. She is a pleasure to work with and I can honestly say, she has given me more focus and insight. Highly recommended.
Jo Dixon
Others who were looking for some transformational changes to their life and work said:
I recently completed a life coaching course with Meg and for the first time I focused on what I want from life instead of work. This has enabled me to heal past trauma and get to a place where honestly, what I would have thought was near impossible, is actually on the table.
I can highly recommend Meg, for her kindness, compassion and support while on this journey as well as helping me to shift life long patterns. Thank you doesn’t seem enough!
Kate El Idrissi
I came to Meg for coaching in a fairly specific area of my professional life but found her teaching and approach applied to many aspects of both my professional and personal life.
Her course began to have an immediate effect on my outlook and productivity and I couldn’t recommend her enough to someone who is seeking to advance themselves.
Adam Gardiner
I didn’t know what to expect with Meg’s coaching. However she dug right in there and got out everything I needed to make my goal a success. A unique and interactive approach. I would highly recommend her techniques to anyone.
Rachel Bonicci
It really filled my cup knowing I was providing was something so transformational. In my new membership program, I’m offering bonus coaching sessions because I love coaching.
Editing
Working with writers to help them make their stories work better is always a privilege. I loved helping them, and it is a little like coaching. Some writers I worked with use their coaching sessions as a time to go over a piece of writing together.
I now know what I need to look at in my manuscript to fix it up more. I’m also glad you gave a few examples to show how I could work on the weak points – it will certainly help when I go back and consider my manuscript with your feedback.
Christine K
Meg gave my manuscript a fair appraisal and provided useful recommendations for improvement.

Introducing my membership program
As I said, I want to help them and you, more because I know too many people who are not living their dream life yet. Instead, they put it into that place called Future Dream. I know far too many writers who are beautiful writers but they struggle to get their words down because of things like imposter syndrome and lack of time and space for their writing.
My membership program has three membership tiers that combine writing and coaching support. Because we all get in the way of ourselves as writers. I know. I’m a writer too. As writers, we also need coaching to deal with those mindset issues that get in our way. We also need community. And prompts and questions to take into our writing so that we can deepen, enrich and improve our writing.
The program I’ve created gives you writing and coaching support, community, bonuses and more, no matter which membership tier you choose.
Whether you’re looking for MOMENTUM with a gentle nudge, you need to FOCUS to help staying on track, or you’re ready to ELEVATE with bigger creative leaps and mindset transformations – there’s a perfect fit for you and your writing.

Not ready to commit to a membership but want to start writing?
That’s fine, but I don’t want you to miss out if you need some writing momentum to write that story, journal, finish the novel or write your newsletters.
Sometimes you just need a reboot, a change or a challenge to move from feeling ‘blocked’ or ‘stuck’ to hungering for any moment to write. That’s what Meg’s sessions do.
Jo D
I enjoyed the regular meeting up with other writers and the writing prompts were excellent. Meg is very generous with her knowledge and experience.
Karen H
You can sign up to the upcoming Writing Momentum 8-week block without all the membership perks.
That’s all from me for now and I wish you all the creative love for 2025.
With warmth and creativity
Meg
