Mum on Good Friday

It’s hard to imagine that this woman, always so full of life, will not be here much longer. In such a short period of time Mum has gone from someone who is running around, with barely a spare moment left in her diary, to someone who now just sleeps.

Welcome to my first reel! Woohoo! I’ve finally done one. I’ve taken up @bronwyn.birdsall and @kmildenhall’s challenge on @thefirsttimepod to dive in. I’ve been home all week with another virus 🦠 (welcome back, viruses!) so I haven’t been up to much BUT it has given me time to work out how to do this (Tip: it takes time to work it out). A big shoutout to @middle_grade_mavens_podcast for her brilliant reels that show you how to do all the things within a reel. Follow her and show her your love. Also watch to Kate and Bronwyn’s live recording on The First Time podcast where they chat all things reel.

Vale Archie Roach ❤️💛🖤
Nurture: a bowl of berry porridge to soothe the brain.
It’s NAIDOC week and I turn to the arts for understanding. Books like these, artwork and music performance. Last night was amazing at Hamer Hall with @electricfields_music and @melbournesymphonyorchestra. The space was heaving with dance and applause. Everyone left with a huge smile of their face. It felt like such a privilege to be in that space. #getupstandupshowup #naidoc2022
