Retreat with Meg terms and conditions
By booking a place at a Retreat with Meg, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Payment and booking
- A non-refundable deposit secures your place.
- Full payment is required no later than one month prior to the retreat start date.
- Early bird discounts apply only when full payment is made by the listed early bird deadline.
Cancellation policy
- Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another writer for the same retreat date (with prior approval).
- If you cancel more than 1 month before the retreat, any payment made beyond the deposit will be refunded.
- If you cancel within 1 month of the retreat, no refunds can be given.
- If you are unable to attend, you may nominate another writer to take your place, pending approval and appropriate arrangements.
COVID-19 and unforeseen events
- If a retreat is postponed or cancelled due to government restrictions or unforeseen events, you will be offered the choice of:
- a full refund, or
- transferring your payment to a future retreat date.
Accommodation and facilities
- All accommodations are as described on the retreat website, including options for shared and private rooms.
- Specific room or cottage selections are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be confirmed upon booking.
- Dietary requirements will be accommodated where possible with advance notice.
Conduct and participation
- This is a supportive and inclusive space for writers. All participants are expected to respect the group, the facilitator, the space, and one another.
- Meg Dunley reserves the right to remove any participant who disrupts the experience of others, without refund.
Liability
- By attending, you acknowledge that participation is at your own risk.
- Meg Dunley and associated venues are not liable for any personal injury, damage, loss, or theft of personal property.
