Pay It Forward: A gift of creative support
Give more than a gift – give opportunity.
This Pay It Forward gift certificate allows you to contribute to creative support for a writer or artist who may not otherwise have access to time, space, guidance, or mentorship for their creative work.
Your purchase funds coaching, mentorship, masterclasses or resources for a vetted writer in need, helping them move their writing forward with dignity, care and encouragement.
How much to give?
You can give anything from $5.00 to whatever feels right for you.
Who will this support?
Writers are carefully vetted before receiving support. Priority is given to:
- First Nations writers
- Carers (including unpaid carers and those with significant caring responsibilities)
- Other writers experiencing financial or life circumstances that limit access to creative support
This certificate is about community, generosity, and believing that stories matter — especially those that might otherwise go unheard.
How the Pay It Forward certificate works
- You choose an amount to contribute
- Your contribution is pooled and allocated to vetted writers
- Funds are used to provide access to Meg Dunley’s writing services and programs
- Where possible, recipients are matched to the support that will best serve their current writing needs
This certificate is not redeemable by the purchaser and cannot be transferred. It exists solely to support writers in need.
What your contribution can provide
Your gift may help fund:
- Access to a group coaching masterclass
- Participation in Writing Momentum (weekly writing group, masterclasses, and support)
- One-on-one coaching
- A year of masterclasses
- The Creative Empowerment 12-Week Coaching Program
- A three-month writing mentorship
- Writing retreats or resources
Contributions of any amount are meaningful and may be combined with others to fund larger offerings.
What you’ll receive
- A digital confirmation of your Pay It Forward contribution
- The knowledge that your gift is directly supporting a writer’s creative journey

Need to know
- Pay It Forward certificates are not redeemable for cash or services by the purchaser
- Contributions are allocated at Meg Dunley’s discretion to vetted recipients
- Funds are used within three years of purchase
- Purchases are non-refundable
This Pay It Forward offering is grounded in respect, reciprocity and creative justice. It is not charity — it is community care.
