More spring joy in my garden. Flowers make me so happy

September orchids in my garden

I've mused about at-home retreating (again) and may have overshared but there's also a bunch of things that I'm loving at the moment in there as well.

I’m taking a break from socials as I’m on an at-home writing retreat but I wanted to pop in to say I’m voting Yes.

It’s that time of year.

For a long time I have thought the idea of the clan hanging out together for a weekend or so would be fun. Then I decided to just make it happen, do what I know I do well. I found a place and set a date and then put it to them to see who wanted to come. I am so glad I did. We laughed, talked, ate and drank. Danced, walked, cooked, played. It was a super kooky place but that only added to the fun. I’m now making this an annual thing and I’m already looking forward to it.
