SUMMARY:Sustaining momentum group coaching masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Group coaching masterclasses are for creatives who want to strengthen their mindset and build sustainable creative practices.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis month we’ll explore: adapting your creative practice during busy\, quiet\, difficult\, or transitional periods to sustain your momentum\n\n\n\n\nJoin me for monthly interactive sessions where we explore practical strategies for common creative challenges—from overcoming self-doubt and comparison to building courage\, setting boundaries\, and maintaining momentum through life’s different seasons. \n\n\n\nEach masterclass combines teaching\, reflection exercises\, and community discussion\, with dedicated time for your questions. Whether you’re navigating a creative transition\, struggling with burnout\, or simply want to grow alongside others who understand the creative journey\, these sessions offer both tools and connection. \n\n\n\n\nThe challenge\n\n\n\nMost creatives don’t quit because they lose talent. They quit because life changes. \n\n\n\nHas your creative rhythm ever been disrupted by work demands\, family responsibilities\, illness\, grief\, burnout\, or major life transitions? You’re not alone—and you don’t need to abandon your creative identity when life shifts. \n\n\n\n\nWhat this masterclass is about\n\n\n\nThis isn’t about productivity hacks or forcing yourself to create in impossible circumstances. It’s about maintaining continuity of creative identity through all of life’s seasons—the busy ones\, the healing ones\, the transitional ones\, and yes\, even the survival ones. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe mindset shift\n\n\n\nCreative people don’t have consistent output. They have consistent identity. \n\n\n\nInstead of asking “How do I stay consistent?” we’ll explore “What does creativity look like in this season?” \n\n\n\nProfessionals create in ideal conditions. Lifelong creatives create in changing conditions. \n\n\n\n\n\nFive practical strategies you’ll learn\n\n\n\n1. Shrink the container\, not the identity \n\n\n\nWhen life gets bigger\, the creative container must get smaller. You’ll design your “15-minute minimum” and “5-minute emergency practice”—because smaller containers preserve creative continuity better than abandoned ambitions. \n\n\n\n2. Match the work to the season \n\n\n\nEvery season favours different types of creative work. Overwhelmed seasons are for collection. Healing seasons are for journaling. Building seasons are for structuring. Energetic seasons are for production. You’ll discover which mode fits your current life capacity—and recognise that momentum isn’t always about producing. Sometimes it’s about gathering. \n\n\n\n3. Create seasonal systems (not rigid routines) \n\n\n\nRigid routines break when life shifts. Systems adapt. You’ll learn to build flexible systems using “anchor points” instead of routines that collapse under pressure. You’ll identify daily and weekly anchors that work with your current reality. \n\n\n\n4. Separate identity from output \n\n\n\nThe fastest way to lose momentum is equating output with worth. Output fluctuates. Identity compounds. You’ll practice the reframe: “I am a creative even when I rest/work another job/care for someone/recover/doubt myself.” \n\n\n\n5. Plan for the dip \n\n\n\nEvery creative arc has excitement\, friction\, doubt\, and breakthrough. You’ll learn to expect friction instead of interpreting it as failure. You’ll identify your personal “dip signals” and pre-decide your response when resistance shows up. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to expect during the session\n\n\n\nDuration: 60 minutes \n\n\n\n0–5 minutes: Opening and framing We’ll start with a relatable truth and define the different seasons of creative life—busy\, healing\, building\, expansion\, survival\, and rest. \n\n\n\n5–20 minutes: The mindset shift Understanding why consistent identity matters more than consistent output\, with a guided reflection exercise to identify which season you’re in and what expectations you’re carrying from a previous one. \n\n\n\n20–45 minutes: Five strategies with interactive exercises Each strategy includes real-world examples from working creatives (Elizabeth Gilbert\, Toni Morrison\, Ernest Hemingway\, Lin-Manuel Miranda\, Frida Kahlo\, Steven Pressfield)\, plus practical exercises you can apply immediately. \n\n\n\n45–60 minutes: Community Q&A Dedicated time for your questions about restarting after breaks\, balancing ambition with capacity\, sustaining creativity with demanding jobs\, knowing when you need rest vs. discipline\, and whatever else you’re wrestling with. \n\n\n\n\n\nWho this is for\n\n\n\n\nWriters\, artists\, and creatives navigating life transitions\n\n\n\nAnyone whose creative practice has been disrupted by life changes\n\n\n\nCreatives dealing with burnout or struggling to restart\n\n\n\nPeople who want to build practices that last (not just survive on willpower)\n\n\n\nAnyone who wants to grow alongside others who understand the creative journey\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFormat and access\n\n\n\n\nLive session: 60 minutes via Zoom \n\n\n\nInteractive elements: Teaching\, reflection exercises\, chat discussions\, and Q&A \n\n\n\nCameras: Optional but encouraged for community connection \n\n\n\nRecording: Available with no time limit for all ticket holders \n\n\n\nResources: Downloadable guide summarising key strategies\n\n\n\nYou’ll receive your Zoom link 24 hours before the session. No preparation required—just bring yourself and your creative questions.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat makes these masterclasses different\n\n\n\nThese sessions are interactive and engaging—not lectures. You’ll leave with practical tools you can use immediately\, plus connection with other creatives who understand the journey. \n\n\n\nEach month explores a different aspect of building sustainable creative practices: overcoming self-doubt\, managing comparison\, building courage\, setting boundaries\, and navigating the real challenges of creative work. \n\n\n\n\n\nInvestment\n\n\n\nFREE for coaching members Already a coaching member? It’s built by return. \n\n\n\nThe goal isn’t to never pause. It’s to always come back. \n\n\n\nJoin us to gain practical strategies that will see you through any season life throws at you. \n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?\n\n\n\nDo I need to prepare anything? \nNo preparation needed. After that\, you’ll receive the recording and resources. \n\n\n\n\nI have another question. \nI’d love to hear from you. SUMMARY:Reflect & Recalibrate FREE masterclass | The Intentional Creative Series
DESCRIPTION:Quarterly Intentional Creative Masterclass Series | Autumn 2026 Sunday 29 March 2026 | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM AEDT | Zoom \n\n\n\n\nHarvest insights\, release what no longer serves\, plant intentions for the next 90 days \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nThis is an interactive session. This isn’t a webinar where you listen passively. This is 90 minutes where we’ll have fun and get creative. You’ll complete powerful exercises with Meg’s guidance and emerge with clear intentions for the next season of your creative life. \n\n\n\nThe first quarter of the year is done. You’ve lived it — the momentum\, the detours\, the unexpected. Now it’s time to pause\, look back with honesty and compassion\, and consciously choose what comes next. \n\n\n\nReflect & Recalibrate is a free\, live working session for creatives who want to close out the first 90 days of 2026 with intention and step into autumn with clarity and purpose. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\n10:00 AM — Welcome & grounding Set the tone\, settle in\, and prepare your journal for the session ahead. \n\n\n\n10:10 AM — Harvest your wins Look back at the past 90 days and celebrate what you actually created\, completed and showed up for — even when it was hard. \n\n\n\n10:20 AM — Identify joy & energy Pinpoint what lit you up and what drained you. Use this to make smarter decisions for the next quarter. \n\n\n\n10:30 AM — Release what no longer serves A guided exercise to let go of the guilt\, the unfinished projects\, and the expectations that are weighing you down. \n\n\n\n10:40 AM — Recalibrate your priorities Get honest about what actually matters to you right now — not what you think should matter. \n\n\n\n10:50 AM — Plant intentions for the next 90 days Set focused\, meaningful intentions for April\, May and June that align with your creative values. \n\n\n\n11:00 AM — Create anchors Design simple rituals and anchors to keep you grounded and on track through the next quarter. \n\n\n\n11:10 AM — Visualise & commit A guided visualisation to lock in your intentions and take one clear action before you close your journal. \n\n\n\n11:20 AM — Live Q&A with Meg Bring your specific questions about your creative goals and challenges. You don’t need to be at a particular stage in your creative journey. If you’re ready to reflect and reset\, you’re in the right place. \n\n\n\n\nIs this just for professional creatives? \nNot at all. This is for anyone with a creative practice they want to sustain\, whether you’re paid for your work or not. If you write\, make art\, or create in any form\, this is for you. \n\n\n\n\nI’ve been away from my creative work for years. Is this still relevant? \nAbsolutely — and especially so if you’d love to find your way back to your creative work again. \n\n\n\n\nWhat do I need to bring?\n Your journal\, your favourite pen\, and an open mind. Find a quiet space where you can write and think without interruption for 90 minutes. A cup of tea or coffee is strongly encouraged. To get the most out of this time you’re making for yourself\, Meg encourages you to let others know you’re unavailable during the session. \n\n\n\n\nWhat platform will we use?\nThe session will be held on Zoom. You’ll receive the link 24 hours before the session. \n\n\n\n\nIs this interactive or just a lecture?\nHighly interactive. The session includes reflection exercises\, chat discussions\, optional partner shares\, and dedicated Q&A time. You’ll be engaged throughout. \n\n\n\n\nDo I need to have my camera on? \nCameras are optional but encouraged for community connection. What if I can’t attend live? \nThis session will not be recorded — it’s designed as a live\, shared experience. If you can’t make it\, you’re welcome to let Meg know. To hear about upcoming workshops and quarterly sessions first\, join Meg’s mailing list. → Join Meg’s mailing list \n\n\n\n\nWill I receive any materials? \nYes\, you’ll receive a downloadable resource after the event. \n\n\n\n\nWhat if I have questions after the session? \nYou’re welcome to email Meg at meg@megdunley.com \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen: Sunday 29 March 2026\, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM AEDT \n\n\n\nWhere: Zoom (link sent upon registration) \n\n\n\nInvestment: Free \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: Journal\, pen\, open mind \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout your host: Meg Dunley\n\n\n\nMeg Dunley is a creativity coach\, writer\, artist and editor.
