Oh my goodness, there is so much to read this year! For a start there are the new releases from the likes of Tania Chandler, Kate Mildenhall, Olga Lorenzo and Jennifer Down to name a few (full disclosure and boasting moment: I know them all, studied with three at RMIT, and taught by one and they are all awesome writers).
Then there are the books my book club will be reading and discussing (note the ones in brackets are extras for those quicker readers):

June – All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
July – Numero Zero” by Umberto Eco (The Umbrian Supper Club by Marlena de Blasi)
Aug – A Few Days in the Country by Elizabeth Harrower (In Certain Circles by Elizabeth Harrower)
Sept – Six Square Metres by Margaret Simmons
Oct – The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George
Nov – The Signature of all Things by Elizabeth Gilbert
Dec – Hello Beautiful by Hanni Rayson
Then there will be all the books that get pushed in front of me, books I need to read for uni and other new releases and old releases that catch my eye.
My scant plan is to do little reviews here and there on my website and you can keep up to date with them under the Books Review tag. You can also follow my reading on Goodreads if you’re into that kinda thing.

I’m looking forward to reading Fiona MacFarlane’s new short stories ‘The High Places’. Also Clementine Ford’s ‘Fight Like a Girl’ and Mark Smith’s ‘The Road to Winter’ and oh so many others!
Highly recommend ‘A Little Life’ by Hana Yanagihara which I devoured down at the beach.
